:: INSPIRATION - I create heart-shaped assemblages from found objects, reclaimed wood, and forgotten materials the world has thrown away. Each piece is built through the practice of bricolage—allowing the materials themselves to guide the form, structure, and story of the work.
The heart appears again and again in my art because I believe it is more than a symbol. Over many years, I’ve studied and been deeply influenced by the spiritual writings of Rudolf Steiner and the scientific research of the HeartMath Institute—both of which point to the heart as a primary center of intelligence, showing that it generates the body’s strongest electromagnetic field and continuously sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to it.
For me, true creation happens in heart–brain coherence—when thinking softens, intuition takes over, and the work begins to assemble itself. In that state, I’m not designing or forcing anything; I’m listening. Each heart is built instinctively from the inside out, guided by feeling, energy, and the quiet intelligence of the heart itself, and the forgotten materials that seem to remember what they want to become.
