These fine art prints are born from Michel Keck’s original abstract paintings and reflect a powerful, instinctive connection to the natural world.
Created intuitively, the work is built through layered color—earth tones stacked and settled over time—allowing raw, organic, and moody surfaces to emerge naturally. Influenced by the textures encountered while moving through nature—worn cliffs, stone and rock formations, fading bark, layered leaves, sand, and the subtle movement of water—each painting carries depth shaped by accumulation rather than planning.
Begun in 2004 and developed through Michel Keck’s Creation and Limbo series, these works are among her most collected. The paintings often evoke the feeling of viewing the earth from a distance—overhead, expansive, and atmospheric—translated into contemporary abstraction.
