Alive and Well Press Release

National Cable TV Series Features Art from The Raw Artist

National televion's top healthy lifestyle series "Alive and Well with Michelle Harris" will feature several works of art from Michel Leah - The Raw Artist, in an episode scheduled to debut on February 3, 2007.

The special episode, entitled "Green Home Make-Over", shows viewers how to create unique and stress-free environments when building, renovating or redecorating a home. Michelle Harris, host of the popular TV series, commented "We are using a lot of cool and environmentally substainable materials like bamboo flooring and recycled glass countertops, but art really impacts the ambience of the home more than anything else."

Executive Producer Mark Harris commented that "We were attracted to Michel's work on many levels. She clearly has a great talent for contemporary abstract work and we love the fact that many of her pieces are affordable and accessible. We expect many of our television viewers to become fans of Michel's work, just as thousands of others have already discovered her on the internet.

The producers are also planning to share Michel's story with television viewers. "Michel has overcome serious adversities and health issues by taking control of her own health and switching to a vegan, raw food diet. We want to share her story in the hopes of helping others."

The episode will debut on February 3, 2007 and will air in repeats for two years. The only other artist being featured on this episode is Miami folk-artist Purvis Young, who paints solely on found objects, such as disposed plywood.
